Covid-19 Policies:

For the foreseeable future, in the interest of protecting our staff and students and limiting the spread of Sars-Cov-2 (Coronavirus; COVID-19), we have instituted new policies that we ask all visitors to adhere to help maintain a safe environment for all. We will continue to update and modify these as needed.

Hull Art Academy...

1. Will require all staff, students, and customers to wear a face covering upon entry to the building.

a. In accordance with CDC guidelines, this includes, but is not limited to the following: cloth masks, medical masks, bandanas, scarfs, etc.

b. All face coverings should cover both the mouth and the nose.

c. Will require all models to be masked, as well.

2. Will wash all rags, towels, robes, cloth, etc. daily to help ensure a sanitary environment.

3. Will disinfect all easels, taborets, and frequent-touch areas between each class and other surfaces daily.

4. Will not provide any food or beverage to students or employees.

5. Will not loan out supplies to students.

6. Will promote social distancing by arranging all easels at least 6 feet apart.

7. Will promote social distancing by requiring all instructors and staff to maintain a safe distance from each other and students.

a. To do this, we ask students to pay for classes and supplies via PayPal or credit card, either in person or over the phone. To keep our staff safe, these methods are preferred over cash payments.

8. Will keep class sizes small.

9. Will monitor and check the health of all staff daily.

10. Will ensure all employees frequently wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.

11. Will continue to provide pick-up options for materials.

12. Will require staff to wear gloves during customer check out.

Students…

1. Will be responsible for ALL of their own supplies.

a. All needed supplies will be available at Hull Art Academy for purchase.

b. This includes, but is not limited to the following: gamsol, jars, linseed/walnut oil, paint, palette, brushes, canvas, charcoal, drawing paper, newsprint, erasers, etc.

2. Will be required to bring ALL supplies to class EACH WEEK. Hull Art Academy will NOT loan out supplies to students.

a. We cannot, in good conscience, loan supplies during classes, knowing that we cannot truly disinfect them between students.

3. Will wear masks at all times.

4. Will social distance while at Hull Art Academy, unless students are of the same household.

5. Will need to take their paintings or drawings home between classes.

a. Hull Art Academy has drawing boards and painting clips for sale for this purpose.
